
Been working (during those precious naptime moments) on some handmade gifties for special people. This pouch was a thank you gift for a friend - I used
this tutorial. My first zippered item! Pretty intimidating - it wasn't as bad as I thought, but the first time I sewed too close to the zip and the fabric got jammed up.


Then I worked on
these potholders for a housewarming gift. I had a chance to use up some yummy scraps and discovered that there is a special batting that is heat-insulated so that they will actually be useable.
