Summer mini-album 2011

It has been too dang hot in Iowa the past few days to be outside, so I've been alternating between cleaning house and doing a little scrapbooking. I started this mini album a few weeks ago to capture our moments of summer fun. These are a few of my favorite spreads so far:

mini book base from: bananafishstudio
She's on vacation right now but you can also find a great summer mini kit from elisejoy. I always get great mini book inspiration from Elise's blog.

I'm adding in the summer pages from my letterpress calendar by ilee papergoods so that I can still enjoy them.

Adding in papers and stickers from my stash, especially the Playground line by Echo Park. Love love love.

The alphabet stamp set is from Michael's. They have a bunch of mini sets for only $1 each ($1 for the whole alphabet! I picked up... several.)

Printing most of my photos at home with my Epson Picturemate that prints 4"x6" photos and smaller.

This kind of project is fun because I can add one page at a time, or I can do like I did this weekend and do a bunch, catch-up style. Fun to add a little ephemera as well. I'm finding spots for a movie ticket (Super 8 - recommend!), a concert ticket (Huey Lewis & the News - fun but didn't live up to my high expectations) and Lachlan's first baseball game ticket (I-Cubs vs. Memphis Redbirds).

Here's a link to last summer's mini, which I still love.
